I’ve experimented with a new work using the reciprocal system attempted at the Zurich performance of Saundaryalahari 3 last month. This audio-visual work involved placement of an a pre-recorded sound field generated by a Ciat-Lonbarde Cocoquantas 2 and placement in the same responsive tracks of the system as a live recording (previous where the cello was recorded). Since there is only one player (in contrast with two, where one plays and the other manipulates the audio-visual system), the performance was done in two takes, so perhaps can not be considered entirely reciprocal. The pixivisor system, which contributes to the initial system, was also not active.
